Our Owners

It has been quite a journey for our owners, Sherman and Lynn Yarbrough, Panama City Beach entrepreneurs.

Lynn is a former critical care nurse and a retired IBM computer specialist who digitalized patient charts. Her fun retirement job is working in real estate with Keller Williams Success Realty.

Sherman has owned multiple businesses throughout the Bay County area. He’s built homes, owned three bars, and owned and operated an insurance agency. Sherman opened and ran Custom Granite and Kitchen Bath in Panama City for the last eight years. He started Half Baked Oyster Bar and Grill last year and is expanding with an additional location very soon!

Lynn and Sherman met at Thunderbird’s, a bar that used to be in the local area, and were married in 1994. Sherman has two sons and six grandchildren that he is extremely proud of.

Our Chef 

Chef Jimmy Mazzullo’s culinary influences come from down on the bayou! Raised in New Orleans, LA, Jimmy migrated to Panama City Beach more than 35 years ago and is proud to be one of the local chefs in the area. He worked with and under one of the greatest chefs on the Gulf Coast, who currently oversees the culinary program at Gulf Coast State College. Jimmy was also the sous chef at the long-time local favorite, The Breakers, for 12 years.

Jimmy has competed in local culinary events, including the Culinary Classic, Pasta Challenge, and the Panama Jack Outdoor Bike & Boat Show, receiving the Best of Show 2015.

Although Jimmy is one of the top chefs in Panama City Beach, he says his proudest accomplishment is being the father of four beautiful daughters, Brittany, Brianna, Peyton, and Makinzie.
